It was all bliss. As you travel in ever-smaller conveyances, you feel your cares diminish, until you arrive at a place where life is integrated with landscape.
There's nothing quite like sipping a samphire margarita on a sunset deck overlooking a wildlife lagoon with waves crashing in the distance. The setting is idyllic and the food even better.
We could just see the beach from bed. The children ran from the patio doors down to the sand. I swam. Someone had hung a makeshift hammock in the rocks above. Bryher was an immediate perfect fit for our feral family.
